Outside Problems
I'm naturally drawn to landscapes featuring captivating geological formations, particularly cliffs and boulders. Each piece reflects a unique and creative response to the specific challenges posed by the landscapes I explore.
During the creative process, I rely on an eclectic blend of sources, including drawings, memories of the physical interaction with the rocks, and instinct. To capture the organic essence of the subject matter, I welcome the inherent unpredictability of painting by infusing spontaneity and randomness using unconventional tools such as brushes on long sticks and a spray bottle.
